All titles reviewed here are commercially available in the U.S., whether through TV broadcast, theatrical release, or DVD/VHS release. Reviews are based on the American DVD release unless otherwise noted. Series reviews are based on the whole series unless otherwise noted. Also note that none of these reviews is newer than 6-7 months old, since all of my review efforts are now focused on my work for Anime News Network.

FANSUB REVIEWS

Every so often a title available only in fansub form catches my attention so well that I judge it worthy of being an exception to my rule about only reviewing anime commercially available in the States. One such title is Scrapped Princess, which is in the process of being released in the U.S. (the second volume, containing episodes 5-7, is due out next week as I write this).
